Lanificio Luigi Colombo is named after its founder, Luigi. An artist and explorer, he focused his attention on the niche sector of precious fibres. A trade as difficult as it is fascinating; dedication to producing fine fabrics handed down over the years from father to son.
The 70′s brought the most recent Colombo generation into the company: Roberto and Giancarlo. Together they’ve carried forward and strengthened the strategies, philosophy and soul of the company, proving their passion for high quality fibres from the very beginning.
Today, Lanificio Luigi Colombo creates fabric collections for the most prestigious names in international fashion.
The items from the Colombo Collections can be found in top department stores and prestigious specialty stores as well as in the own stores.
The entire Lanificio Luigi Colombo production process takes place in two historic Italian facilities in Borgosesia and Ghemme: from the selection of fibres to their transformation into yarns and threads and then fabrics and garments.
The company organizes the entire process into two divisions: the Fabric Division, where the processing of fine raw materials takes place and the Finished Product Division, where garments of extreme quality and style take shape.
Lanificio Luigi Colombo prêt à porter collections including women’s, men’s, knitwear and accessories are produced exclusively from the precious fibres and fabrics of the Fabric Division.
